- Bring capstone and senior design projects to life with open platforms and tailored support.

How do you get started? Take advantage of Opto 22 training options.
Start in our classroom—then bring the knowledge into yours.
You might have already heard about the four-day groov EPIC System Premium Factory Training class that's held at Opto 22 company headquarters in Temecula, California. In the class you'll learn how to collect, process, view, and exchange data at the edge. You'll explore system components and configuration, programming options, networking capabilities, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and communication methods. You can apply what you learn to your industrial automation courses and build solutions for the IIoT.
Class size is a maximum of 12 students, each student at their own training station, programming their own groov EPIC Learning Center. Get the class details and see the 2025 class schedule.
Take advantage of free OptoU online training for Opto 22 products.
Professors and instructors: You can also learn the platform at your own pace in our free online training, then teach it with confidence in your own courses. There's no need to start from scratch; you can adapt our OptoU modules directly into your course content.
Several series of online training lessons are available, for the groov EPIC system, groov RIO edge I/O, and also for our older SNAP PAC products, still used in the field.
