The annual Ignition Community Conference will be a free, virtual event this year.

ICC 2020 - EnvisionInductive Automation's annual Ignition Community Conference (ICC) provides unique opportunities to get expert tips from Ignition trainers, see real-world Ignition projects from other industries, and meet with industry leaders and subject-matter experts from around the world of industrial automation. As with most 2020 conferences, the show must go on but in a virtual format, and Opto 22 will be there too.

With this year's "Envision" theme, virtual ICC 2020 is happening on September 15th and will include

  • a preview of Ignition 8.1
  • a live-streamed panel discussion
  • video case studies
  • on-demand presentations from several members of the Ignition Community, including Opto 22!
Opto 22's Benson Hougland will be presenting: The Quickest and Simplest Method for Publishing Sensor and State Data Directly to Ignition
groov RIOReal-time, real-world data from sensors and devices is key to creating the connected enterprise. In this session, Benson will demonstrate how to quickly and securely connect, configure, and publish sensor and state device data directly into MQTT infrastructure—without using a PC or PLC. You'll see how data automagically appears in Ignition using MQTT Engine, significantly streamlining your application development and digital transformation projects—from automation to OEE and everything in between.

(This will also be a chance to see Opto 22's new groov RIO edge I/O module in action.)

Register to attend (remember it's free) and get access to all the Ignition Community presentations. Check the ICC schedule for the complete event agenda and times, and look for event updates on social media: #ICCenvision
