Hello Everyone! I'm glad to be writing again. It's not often they let me near a keyboard, so it must be something special. And it is. It's something EPIC.
If you've taken our factory tour, you may have already heard me say this: we manufacture everything here in Southern California — assembly, test, calibration, all of it. Our surface-mount department alone produces over 400 unique SKUs a year and places up to 6 million components a month.
When you think of EPIC, you might think of something new for the groov product line. But while today's announcement isn't that, it still relies heavily on our surface mount process.
GRV-EPIC-PZA

We're confident we have the most precise pizza service in Southern California. Here's how it works.
In our climate-controlled solder paste room, we prep the dough and sauce. Our automatic printers knead the dough, our technicians prep the perfect diameter and thickness, and we load it into the printer for precise sauce deposition.

While that's happening, we're setting up the placement program offline so the pizza moves through the machines as fast as possible
You know that feeling when you order a game-night pie and the pepperoni count is completely random? Not a problem here. Every pizza gets exactly the toppings specified by your order.

Now that we have our program, and our machines have been set up, we are ready to load up our culinary delight and populate those toppings.
It's time to let her rip, incoming perfect cheese coverage and precise pepperoni placement!
But we're not done. Every pizza gets a custom reflow profile through our 6, 8, and 9-zone ovens for that crispy crust and perfectly melted cheese. We'll even run nitrogen when needed to prevent oxidation. Thousands of pizzas. All identical. All perfect.

We'd never ship any product without thorough inspection and test. We were committed to 200% testing on the pizzas too, but customers weren't thrilled about receiving a pre-tasted pie, and we were running out of volunteers. So: 100% testing on this one.
“Where do I order? Do your OptoPartners even have those insulated pizza bags? Or is this a clever advertising play to announce Opto’s new relationship with DoorDash?”
Good news and bad news: We’re not ready for public distribution yet, but if you’ve taken our onsite Premium Factory Training class recently, you may have already gotten your fill of GRV-EPIC-PZA on the last day of class!

And one more thing....Happy April Fool's Day!!
