Looking back on 2022, we had some exciting product releases like the groov RIO EMU (Energy Monitoring Unit). This intelligent, distributed energy monitoring system is ideal for monitoring real-time power and collecting energy usage. And as with all groov products, groov RIO EMU includes security, data processing, and networking to meet the needs of your energy management projects.
Opto 22 also announced new firmware versions of groov EPIC and groov RIO in 2022. Both of these 3.4 firmware releases introduced an embedded OPC UA server onboard, offering a familiar, platform-independent way to exchange data among devices and software within your OT network. Using OPC UA, integrate your PAC Control and I/O tags into your choice of SCADA and HMI software.
OptoU continues to be a valuable online training tool. Online registrations have increased, and several lessons were added to the groov EPIC training series this year. We invite you to check out the new CODESYS and OPC UA sections of the groov EPIC courses.
The year also brought challenging supply chain issues to our industry, which we continue to strategize for. We are working diligently to provide as many options as possible to our customers in 2023 and are committed to delivering your products as quickly as possible.
