The world's largest producer of fence boards improves efficiency with data visualization.

Walk into the fencing department of your local home improvement store, and you're likely to find Alta Forest Products wood fencing prominently featured. To remain the world's largest fence board producer, Alta has invested heavily in redesigning the handling and processing systems at its four sawmills, scattered over two states.

With the redesign came the need for visibility into systems data, to verify operations and improve efficiency even farther. Supervisory personnel wanted a broad overview of each facility plus the ability to see critical KPIs (key performance indicators) for each machine center.
