Last week in Dallas was extraordinary, as over 600 industry professionals and 36 vendors gathered for ProveIt! 2025. This conference wasn’t just about talking digital transformation—it was all about live demonstrations that truly proved the value of IIoT technologies in action.

With a focus on educating attendees, this conference drew end users who are manufacturers.

The team from Opto 22 showcased groov EPIC and groov RIO systems across both brownfield and greenfield applications. Our presentation delved into the challenge of collecting data from “dark” assets in manufacturing.

These assets—think air compressors, dryers, and power management systems—often operate under the radar despite being critical to overall performance. By capturing data from these traditionally overlooked systems, manufacturers can unlock valuable insights that drive operational efficiency and foster smarter decision-making.

What really made ProveIt! stand out was its unique format: every vendor had to prove their solution live using a simulated manufacturing facility. This wasn’t just about talk—it was about transforming ideas into real projects, live. The transparency and interaction throughout each session made every demo feel like a genuine proof-of-concept.

Beyond the live demo, our booth became a hub of conversation as numerous customers stopped by to discuss their own applications and the challenges they face. Their enthusiasm for digital transformation and IIoT innovations was amazing.
