Follow along with Vladimir Romanov of SolisPLC as he starts an EPIC video series that takes a deep dive into groov EPIC.

In the world of industrial controls and automation, we all have our go-to resources for getting the latest product news. You probably have your favorite websites, blogs, social media channels, or e-newsletters that you depend on for industry information. Well, you might want to add Vlad Romanov to your list as well.

Vlad runs the SolisPLC training platform, which offers a library of high-quality tutorials and video courses to level up your PLC programming skills. He also provides industry insights, and product reviews on LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube. 

He recently began looking for an industrially hardened platform for running Ignition Edge and became interested in learning more about the groov EPIC system. Opto 22 was happy to oblige! We sent him a groov EPIC Learning Center (GRV-EPIC-LC) so he could take it for a test drive.

The first video in his series covering groov EPIC will take you through his experience using the EPIC Learning Center. He gives an overview of hardware features, discusses the start-up process, and provides commentary about the software packages that are pre-installed on the controller. 

In the rest of the series, Vlad plans to go into more detail exploring all the software options of groov EPIC, including Node-RED, and hints at wanting to create an Alexa-based application for his house.
