This month's Ignition Community Live event with OptoPartner Grantek is now available for on-demand viewing.

You might recall from earlier OptoBlog posts that we always jump at the chance to be a part of Ignition Community Live events. They are a great way to show off how seamlessly groov EPIC and groov RIO work with Inductive Automation's Ignition® platform. This time, Opto 22's Benson Hougland joined forces with Doug Yerger from Grantek for a cross-country demo.

Here's their agenda:

Benson: 

1. Wire 2 sensors and 1 stack light to a groov RIO module in our Temecula, CA demo lab
2. Configure the I/O in groov Manage and start publishing MQTT/Sparkplug B payloads to a cloud-based broker

Doug:

1. Configure MQTT Engine on an Ignition instance in Doug's Philadelphia, PA lab, then automatically ingest tags from Benson's groov RIO and write output to the stack light
2. As an alternative, configure Modbus comms to push the same data to another groov RIO
