Thousands of level sensors, rotary encoders, drives, and meters can use Modbus®/TCP to communicate their data. How would you like to monitor and control them from your smartphone or tablet?
That's the big news in groov R2.3: you can add Modbus/TCP devices to your groov mobile operator interface without needing an OPC tag server or protocol converters.
The groov Box or groov Server acts as a Modbus master and communicates directly with these devices. Build your groov pages with just the data and controls you need, and then see or change status, levels, and more.
If you already have groov, see the steps below to get your free upgrade.
If you don't have groov yet and you only need to communicate with Modbus/TCP and SNAP PAC devices (not with OPC UA-compatible automation systems), save a bundle by purchasing the less expensive GROOV-AR1-SNAP groov Box or GROOV-SVR-WIN-SNAP groov Server. See the groov Data Sheet for more information.
