As an essential supplier to critical infrastructure sectors, Opto 22 is committed to providing customer service and technical support during the COVID-19 outbreak.CISA_DHS

As the local, national, and global Coronavirus situation changes on a daily basis, we want you to have the latest news on how Opto 22 is working with our customers and staff to continue operations under COVID-19 restrictions.

Many of you have heard the State of California is now under a government-imposed "Stay at Home" order, which directly affects the employees at our Temecula headquarters and manufacturing facility located in Southern California. The health and safety of our staff is our top priority, and we continue to ensure we are following all COVID-19 guidelines from the CDC.

Therefore, we have initiated the following:

  • On-site staff will consist of core employees only, with the majority working remotely
  • All off-site staff (regional sales managers and engineers) will remain on travel restriction until further notice
  • All planned event participation has been canceled through July 2020

However, as an essential manufacturer and solutions provider in several of the 16 critical infrastructure sectors defined by CISA (Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, a department of the US Department of Homeland Security), Opto 22 will continue operations.

We are proud to support the manufacture of materials and products needed for essential medical supply chains, transportation, energy, communications, food and agriculture, chemical manufacturing, nuclear facilities, the operation of dams, water and wastewater treatment, emergency services, and the defense industrial base, all deemed vital by CISA: https://www.cisa.gov/critical-infrastructure-sectors

Opto 22 is committed to fulfilling its role in these critical supply chains.

As previously announced, Opto 22 staff are ready and able to process orders, ship products and provide pre-sales engineering guidance. Our product support engineers are also available for technical support and troubleshooting.

We encourage you to send your inquiries to us through the Contact Us page on our website. For technical support, you can also email us at support@opto22.com. If you require a call-back, please provide detailed contact information so one of our engineers can respond by phone.

Thank you again for your continued understanding and support during these unsettling times.

Stay healthy, and be safe.

Best regards,

Mark Engman
CEO/President, Opto 22
